What it is really like to restore your driveway with us from abroad
Working with us from abroad looks like this: you send photos, we ask a few questions and quote, we agree colour, dates and access, the work happens in a fixed order while you receive photos at each stage, and you see the finished surface on your phone before you see it in person.
Send us a photo and the m²How does the first contact work?
The first contact is usually a set of photos sent by WhatsApp or through the contact form. A wide view of the driveway, carport or garage, close-ups of cracks, stains and edges, and a rough measurement are enough to start.
We reply in English. Often we have a few questions: is there water near the area, can a car be parked elsewhere, are there steps or a ramp, is the villa let to guests? Then we send a quote that lists what is included and what is not.
What gets agreed before we start?
Colour, dates, access and scope are agreed before anything happens on site. Nothing is left to be decided on the day.
- Colour: chosen against photos of your house, gate and walls
- Dates: fitted around the weather forecast and any rental bookings
- Access: who opens the gate, who moves the cars, where the water is
- Scope: which areas are included, in writing, with exclusions
If a site check is needed before quoting, your key holder or property manager can meet us. You get photos and notes from that visit.
What happens on site, and what do you see?
On site, the work follows the same order every time, and you receive photos of each step. That is what it looked like on the Marbella villa where we restored a stamped concrete driveway, a carport under a reed-roofed pergola and the garage apron.

First the surface is pressure washed. Then cracks are filled and edges masked where needed. Next, the perimeter along posts and walls is cut in by brush, and the first strips of colour go down before the full coats.

Each of these images is the kind of update you receive. If something unexpected appears, such as an extra crack under the dirt, you get a photo and an explanation before any change to the scope.
How do you know when the car can go back?
We tell you, based on the product data sheet and the conditions on the day. Drying and curing depend on temperature and humidity, so we confirm the time when the last coat is down rather than promising it weeks in advance.
Your key holder or manager is told the same, so nobody drives onto the new surface too soon. On a rental villa, we make sure the timing works before the next guests arrive.
What does the finished job look like?
The finished job arrives as a final set of photos. On the Marbella villa, it was a long driveway in a deep, glossy, even tone running up to the carport, and a garage apron in the same colour.

The full sequence is on our completed work page. For the services involved, see driveway restoration, carports and parking bays and garage floor painting.
Why is there no review or rating section here?
Because we would rather show the actual process than quote opinions you cannot verify. The photos above are from a real job, and the steps described are the ones we follow on every surface.
If you want to understand the process in more depth before contacting us, our driveway restoration guide explains each stage and the decisions behind it.
What might owners abroad want to know?
The key questions from abroad are whether owners need to fly over, who holds the keys, how they will know the work was done properly and what happens if the weather changes. The short answers are: no, someone you choose, through photos at each stage, and the dates move rather than the quality.
Most of these questions disappear once the first photos arrive. Seeing the washed surface, the filled cracks and the first strip of colour on your own driveway tends to answer them better than any explanation we could write in advance.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be in Spain for any part of the process?
No. You can stay abroad throughout. Photos, measurements, colour choice and approval all happen by WhatsApp or email in English. What we need on site is access and a contact person, usually a key holder, property manager, gardener or trusted neighbour, who can open the gate and move vehicles.
How often will I get updates?
You receive photos at the key stages: before we start, after cleaning, after repairs, after cutting in and when the coats are finished. If anything unexpected comes up, you hear from us straight away with a photo and an explanation. You can also ask for an update at any time.
Can I talk to you by video call?
If it helps you decide, we can arrange a call to go through the photos, colours and plan. WhatsApp messages and photos are usually enough, because owners can reply at a time that suits them, wherever they are in the world.
What if my key holder is not available on the day?
We agree access arrangements in advance, including a backup if possible. If access fails on the day, the work is rescheduled. That is why we confirm the arrangements a short time before the start date and keep everyone informed. A new date is agreed as soon as possible.
Do you work with property management companies?
Yes. Many villas on the coast are looked after by management companies, and we coordinate with them on access, timing and water. You stay in the loop and receive the same photos. The quote and the agreement remain with you as the owner unless you decide otherwise.
Can the work be timed around my holiday lets?
Yes. Tell us the booked dates and we plan the work in a gap between guests, leaving enough time for the coating to reach the point where cars can use the surface according to the data sheet. If weather moves the dates, we look for the next suitable gap.
How do I pay if I am abroad?
Payment details and terms are in the quote. Bank transfer works from anywhere. Invoices show VAT separately. If you have questions about the payment arrangements, ask before booking so everything is clear from the start. Every payment is traceable, and you receive the documents by email wherever you are.
Will I see the colour before it goes on the whole driveway?
The colour is agreed beforehand against photos of your house. When the first strips go down, you receive a photo, which is a good moment to see the colour on your own surface in real light. Large changes at that point mean delay, so agreeing carefully beforehand matters.
What happens if it rains on the planned dates?
The work moves. Coating in rain or high humidity risks the result, so we reschedule and tell you and your key holder. We would rather finish a few days later than leave you with a finish that suffered from bad timing.
Do you send anything after the job is finished?
Yes, a final set of photos of the finished surface and the information on when foot traffic and vehicles can return. We also share simple advice on looking after the coating, so whoever cares for the villa while you are away knows what to do.
